The property management company managing the newly built Voskhod residential complex needed to cut electricity accounting costs, automate data collection, and ensure its prompt delivery to the utility company.

The Jooby solution

As a part of the project, smart reading collection devices were installed in apartments and offices of the newly built 13-story Voskhod residential complex: 150 MTX LoRa®-enabled multi-rate single-phase electricity meters and 60 Jooby dual-input radio modules. The devices were then connected to the Jooby RDC Dashboard software.

Infomir’s LoRaWAN® base stations were used to relay the data: radio modules and smart electricity meters send readings remotely via these base stations. The data is transferred over the internet to the company server to be included in reports.

Jooby dual-input radio modules to automatically collect readings from the Novator water meters and send them to the water accounting system over a LoRaWAN® network. One radio module is used for every two water meters, which enables substantial cost savings.

MTX LoRa®-enabled multi-rate single-phase electricity meters

MTX LoRa®-enabled multi-rate single-phase electricity meters to automatically measure electricity consumption and send the data to the tracking system over a LoRaWAN® network.

The Jooby RDC Dashboard

The Jooby RDC Dashboard, an online service providing quick access to utility consumption reports, as well as, device and network status data.

Results

the Jooby dual-input radio modules and MTX LoRa®-enabled multi-rate single-phase electricity meters were installed in the Voskhod residential complex, and a wireless system for the transmission of readings was set up

the property management company got ongoing access to accurate meter reading data, as well as the means to get quick account balancing and report generation

the property management company's utility consumption tracking costs were reduced

residents and office owners were provided with a convenient metering collection and submission system
