The requirements in the newly built Dva Akademika residential complex were:

  • To reduce utility consumption tracking costs for the management company.
  • To provide apartment owners with a system for the automated collection and transmission of meter readings.

The Jooby solution

Jooby wireless modules for Elster gas meters have been installed in 165 apartments.

  • Devices are installed and connected to the Jooby RDC Dashboard software.
  • A LoRaWAN® base station is installed to transmit data to the server.
  • Data transmission to the Jooby RDC Dashboard software is configured: utility consumption and device status reports are sent directly into the management company’s software.

Wireless modules for Elster gas meters automatically collect gas meter readings and send them to the tracking system over a LoRaWAN® network.

Jooby RDC Dashboard

The Jooby RDC Dashboard is an online service that provides quick access to utility consumption reports, as well as, device and network status data.

Results

In the Dva Akademika residential complex, wireless modules for gas meters are installed and a wireless transmission system is configured.

The management company can quickly obtain accurate meter readings, balance the books, and generate reports.

Residents are provided with a convenient system for the collection and transmission of meter readings.

Consumption tracking costs for the property management company are reduced.
