  • To automate the collection of the joint-stock company Poltavagaz’s subscribers’ meter readings.
  • To provide the utility company with 6,000 radio modules and a data tracking system for both multi-story and detached houses, as well as, municipal and industrial consumers.
  • To reduce the management company’s utility consumption tracking costs.
  • To provide consumers with an automated data collection and transmission system.

The Jooby solution

  • Jooby radio modules were installed on the joint-stock company Poltavagaz’s subscribers’ gas meters.
  • The devices were then activated and paired with the software solution, supplied by a third-party integrator.
  • The gas supplier was granted access to the admin dashboard for 24/7 monitoring of utility consumption and device status.
  • To transmit data to the server, a LoRaWAN® base station was deployed.

Results

Since 2016, the joint-stock company Poltavagaz has been using smart automation to collect data from all its meters remotely.

The utility company cut its consumption tracking costs and increased subscriber payment collection.

The number of utility theft cases among the company's subscribers fell.

The joint-stock company Poltavagaz now has a faster way of balancing accounts, drawing up reports, and identifying gas leaks.
