Городок освещали бюджетные 60-ваттные светильники. Их угол наклона не регулировался, поэтому ночью в окна коттеджей попадал яркий свет. Муниципалитет хотел сделать освещение уютнее и уменьшить энергопотребление системы.
The community was originally lit by low-budget 60 W lights. Their tilt angle was not adjustable, so bright light got into the cottages’ windows at night. The municipality wanted to make the lighting more comfortable and reduce the system energy consumption.
The Avenue line had the right lights for them. The correctly selected lenses and precise tilt adjustment reduced the light entering through houses’ windows. To control the system, we deployed a private LoRaWAN® network with one LORIX One base station. Thanks to smart control, the lighting brightness automatically reduces after 10:00 pm.
Residents’ comfort was not sacrificed to obtain efficiency. If a motion sensor detects a pedestrian or a car, the luminaries light up brighter one by one, thus making the space around pedestrians and cars always illuminated.
