Since 2016, the joint-stock company Odesagaz has been remotely collecting the readings from all its meters.
The remote collection of readings enables the utility company to track gas consumption, and promptly balance accounts and draw reports.
The gas supplier's consumption tracking costs were optimized, and subscriber payment collection rose by 20%.
With a smart tracking system at its disposal, the company saw a drop in utility theft and started quickly identifying gas leaks.
