The Jooby radio module with an intelligent sensor for the Elster gas meter. It is designed for automatic meter reading and data transmission via the MQTT protocol over the NB-IoT network.

OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The Jooby radio module is mounted on the meter’s housing and securely fixed. The device setup is performed by the service provider and only takes a few minutes. Installation and activation do not require the removal of the meter. The radio module tracks one full revolution of the meter’s dial, incrementing the pulse counter by 1. Then, the accumulated data is transmitted over the NB-IoT network. The transmission frequency can be adjusted; by default, data is sent once per day.
In addition to meter readings, the radio module transmits information about battery charge and signals if the device is removed or influenced by a magnet.
The radio module is equipped with an electronic log that stores up to 512 events or incidents, retaining data for up to 10 years, ensuring durability and reliability.
