LoRaWAN radio module with sensors for Elster gas meter
The radio module enables remote collection and transmission of gas meter readings, allowing utility providers and property management companies to receive reliable data at predefined intervals.
The device mounts directly onto the meter housing without removing the meter and activates automatically. An external antenna connects to the radio module and is positioned separately, allowing installers to select the most suitable location for signal reception and transmission.
The system features intelligent sensors that detect rotation of the meter’s counting mechanism and respond to tampering attempts, such as module removal or magnetic interference. Data is transmitted wirelessly over a LoRaWAN network at configurable intervals.
*EU standard by default. US, AS and other regional frequency standards are available on request.

How It Works
Installing the radio module takes just a few minutes: it attaches to the meter using the dedicated mounting bracket included in the package. The external antenna is then connected and secured, and the device activates automatically.
Collected data is automatically transmitted via the LoRaWAN network to the utility provider’s server and integrated into its metering system.
The transmission interval is configured remotely; by default, data is sent once every four hours. Built-in memory stores historical consumption data, including hourly and daily records. The radio module comes in an IP68-rated enclosure.
