Smart external connection sensor for Itron gas meters
A magnetic sensor designed to transmit data from meters to the Jooby OMNI RM LoRaWAN 4PU 400 EU pulse radio module via a connector.
The device is mounted on the meter housing and connects to the radio module via a connector. After that, the sensor begins to record the number of rotations of the meter’s counting wheel with a magnet and transmit the data to the pulse radio module.

How It Works
OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The sensor generates counting pulses, which are received by the radio module and stored in non-volatile memory. At a set interval, the radio module sends the information received from the sensor to the server via a specific wireless network.
When the sensor is connected to Jooby OMNI RM LoRaWAN 4PU 400 EU radio modules, the radio module is activated by a signal from the sensor upon installation on the meter.
The sensor is able to detect the effect of an external magnetic field on the meter.
