JOOBY AQUARIS SNS WOAP01 100

Smart external connection sensor for the Apator water meter

Jooby Aquaris SNS optical sensors are designed to take readings of water meters by recording the rotation of the meter pointer.

The device is designed to operate in conjunction with the Jooby OMNI RM LoRaWAN 4PU 201 EU pulse radio module.

The Sensor is powered through the signal wire from the Pulse Radio Module. Due to this its service life is quite long.

  • Remote data collection Apator JS Master +*
  • Average lifetime 10 years (1 data transfer per day)*
  • Mounting up to 5 minutes

*The complete list of compatible meter models is shown in the table below **Service life depends on data transfer frequency

OPERATION PRINCIPLE

After installation on the meter and connection to the pulse radio module, the device is ready for operation. The sensor immediately starts recording meter readings and transmits the data to the radio pulse module. Information about the consumed resource is given in counting pulses, the number of which is equal to the number of pointer rotations or divisible by it.

The data is stored in the non-volatile radio module memory and transmitted through the wireless LoRaWAN network to the server, where it is converted into readings.

Suppliers get timely and accurate information about the consumed resources.

Due to the increased battery capacity of the Jooby OMNI RM LoRaWAN 4PU 201 EU pulse radio module,
Sensors do not need a built-in power supply unlike other models in the Jooby OMNI RM series.
