Gateway for data collection in LoRaWAN networks
The Jooby Indoor Gateway LoRaWAN is a gateway (base station), designed to receive data from radio modules and transmit it to a server. Gateways operate in a wireless LoRaWAN network: this technology allows data to be transmitted over long distances without significant power consumption. Due to the industrial-class components, the information is securely protected. The data arrives at the server in encoded form and is then transcoded into a convenient format.
The gateway is supplied with accessories and mounts to fix the device easily and securely. The functionality of the gateway can be extended upon customer request by using special technical solutions.

HOW IT WORKS
The main requirement for operation of the gateway is the presence of a cellular network. The device(s) should be installed in a location where radio sensors collecting information are concentrated. In particular, the gateway can be used to accumulate and transmit data from radio modules that take readings from meters. The base station should be installed near a residential complex for this purpose. Radio modules automatically record readings of water, gas, heat and electricity meters and transmit them via LoRaWAN to the gateway. The data is then sent to the end server.
