Pulse radio module sensor

The radio module with a sensor for reading pulses from HIDROCONTA hidroJet water meters is designed for automatic reading of measurements from various types of meters and data transmission via a secure LoRaWAN wireless network. The IP68/68 rating ensures reliable protection against dust and water exposure. The device is equipped with a 3 m external antenna. 

The module is equipped with an energy-efficient battery that guarantees at least 10 years of autonomous operation when transmitting data 4 times per day.

The received data is processed and displayed in a unified metering system, enabling prompt monitoring of resource consumption. The system supports log keeping with hourly and daily granularity.

The data transmission frequency can be changed via a mobile application within a range from once per hour to once per day.

The device is covered by a warranty:

– 24 months for retail sales;

– up to 60 months (5 years) for projects.

OPERATION PRINCIPLE

The Jooby pulse radio module is mounted on a wall or flat surface near the meters. Then, using a sensor, the device is connected to water, gas, heat, or electricity metering devices. To activate the radio module, a magnet must be placed against the corresponding icon on the housing for 7 seconds. Instant readings can be sent using the touch button.

The entire installation process of the radio module takes a few minutes and does not require removing the meter.

After activation, the device starts transmitting readings via the LoRaWAN network to the base station. The data is then sent to the resource provider’s server and becomes available in the Jooby RDC Dashboard administrative panel. For reliability, the data is stored in its own non-volatile memory.

The device is certified by the LoRa Alliance, confirming its compliance with international LoRaWAN network standards.
