JOOBY AQUARIS SNS WMBA02 100
Smart external connection sensor for Baylan water meters
A magnetic sensor for transmitting water meter readings to the Jooby OMNI RM LoRaWAN 4PU 204 EU pulse radio module.
The device is mounted on the meter housing and connected to the radio module. Afterward, the sensor starts detecting the number of rotations of the water meter’s magnet and transmits the data to the pulse radio module.
*LoRaWAN is a registered trademark of Semtech Corporation.
- Remote data collection Baylan water meters
- Average lifetime 10 years (1 data transfer per day)*
- Mounting up to 5 minutes
*Service life depends on data transfer frequency

OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The sensor is mounted on the meter case and connected to the radio module. It counts the revolutions of a magnet inside the water meter, generating pulses with the set pulse ratio and transmitting the data to the pulse radio module.
The sensor’s data is sent as meter pulses, the number of which is equal or proportional to revolutions of the water meter.
All data from the sensor is stored in the radio module’s non-volatile memory and transmitted at regular intervals via the LoRaWAN wireless network to a server where it is converted into readings.
