Jooby LoRaWAN-enabled multi-rate single-phase electricity meter
The Jooby Electra MTX1 meter is designed to measure the active electricity consumed in AC networks with a rated voltage of 220 V and automatically transmit collected data to the supplier.
Thanks to a built-in radio module, the device automatically collects and transmits readings to supplier systems. Also, the meter detects tampering attempts, e.g., by a magnet or by compromising the meter body. The device sends data about such events over a LoRaWAN wireless network.
The Jooby Electra MTX1 meter enables suppliers to obtain accurate consumption data on time, prevent theft, and optimize data tracking.

OPERATION PRINCIPLE
Install the meter in a designated place, ensuring it won’t be exposed to humidity.
Connecting the meter to the mains power activates the built-in LoRaWAN-enabled module and ensures your device automatically registers with the system. Also, you can add your device to the database using a mobile app.
The radio module collects meter readings and transmits data to the base station over a secure channel at preset intervals. After that, the supplier receives your data in its tracking system.
The device lets the supplier suspend and resume electricity supply to its consumers and thus enables it to disconnect non-payers temporarily if necessary.
You can set the meter to track electricity consumption using block or load tariffs (time of day, workday/weekend, or seasonal).
