OPERATION PRINCIPLE
JOOBY EPHIR RMS NB-IoT automatically reads meter data using a remote sensor that detects every full rotation of a designated section of the gas meter’s measuring mechanism and increments the pulse count by 1.
The radio module is installed near the meter, while the external sensor is placed directly on the meter and securely attached. The sensors also allow detecting any unauthorized tampering with the radio module and can notify the service provider accordingly.
The radio module is equipped with an electronic log capable of storing up to 255 events or incidents and retaining data for up to 10 years, ensuring the device’s longevity and reliability.
